This piece is most memorable for me as it represents the first collaboration between myself and cinematographer Tommy Fitzgerald, and beginning of nearly a decade-long close working relationship. Tommy has been the cornerstone of a lot of my work since this initial piece, and I’m immensely grateful to have him in my life.

The music video itself is a simple piece that, in accordance with the lyrics, attempts to evoke a sense of existential exhaustion. It follows a relationship, advanced in years and devoid of warmth, held together by mundane rituals, and the gossamer-thin veneer of contentment for each other, and for themselves. It’s a slow-moving piece that is meant to capture the feeling of a failing relationship, continuing on inertia alone.
