There’s always a bit of a dichotomy between how the world sees us, and how we see ourselves. The world knew Ocado as a grocery delivery company, and they came to us with the challenge of reimagining them as leaders within the robotics space. To achieve this required an entire overhaul of their brand aesthetic and voice, a host of shiny new videos unveiling their robotic innovations, and a live launch at the top of London’s Leadenhall building, streamed worldwide in 13 languages.
The results were staggering. Not only did we re-contextualise the brand aesthetic as a bleeding-edge, tech-forward market leader, not only did we redefine the brand voice strategy, but with the help our carefully planned live-action hype videos and animated explainers, our live-streamed launch, Ocado’s share price jumped 5.5% the next day, with press coverage everywhere from Bloomberg to CNBC. The experience would go on to win gongs from both the Micebook V Awards and the Transform Europe Awards 2023.
