My first out-and-out commercial, and the piece that got me signed to Arrow Films as a commercial director. As a Wicklow native, I thought this advert served as a wonderful opportunity to capture the natural beauty of my home county, and in doing so, portray the beer itself as emerging from that wild, untameable landscape.

There are so many elements I love in this video, not least of which was working with good friends Darragh Sweetnam and Shane Smith, the former of which you might notice as the beautiful shirtless man halfway up a sheer cliff face. We also featured fellow Garden County resident, and Irish women’s surfing legend Copper Pigot, shooting at 4am on one of the most miserable grey days in the history of location shoots. The highlight was, of course, working Sundance the timber wolf, who was, to say the least, a challenging actor.
